**Responsibilities**
**Jo** **b Summary:**
Assists in coordinating the technical components of the simulation center including pre/during/post simulation activities and supporting the daily technical operations of the Learning Institute. Prepares, integrates, and provides support for the simulators, task trainers, software, hardware and audiovisual
equipment in the learning institute. Partners with IT departments to ensure smooth integration and maintenance of simulation and computer software in Learning Institute.
**Job Standards:**
+ Manages computers within the Learning Institute to assure full functionality at all times. Collaborate with IT when needed.
+ Manages AV equipment in the Learning Institute to assure full functionality at all times.
+ Manages relationship with multiple vendors to assure needs of department are met
+ Manages multiple activities contained in CAE/Learning Space product to utilize to its fullest potential.
+ Prepares, operates, and maintains simulation equipment, mannequins, task trainers, and virtual reality procedural trainers
+ Provides technical support before and during simulation events, trouble shooting equipment issues to ensure simulation runs smoothly
+ Serves in support role (simulation hall monitor, administrative support, control room technician, standardized patient) during simulation events when needed
+ Conducts ongoing maintenance of all simulation equipment, including cleaning, repairing, assuring that all equipment is maintained in good working order at all times
**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
Experience: 2 years experience working with healthcare simulation in higher education or hospital setting. Experience with IP A/V systems and video conferencing. Experience with product troubleshooting as relates to hospital or vendor servers. Experience with Learning Space, Metiman and Gaumard simulators
Education: Associates degree
Licensure: None specified
Special Skills: In-depth ability to operate various computer programs including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MAC operating system, and IPADS. Experience running high fidelity simulators and scenario programming. Must demonstrate ability to be self-directed in a fast-paced environment. Must be organized, flexible, and adaptable to a dynamic schedule.
**Pay Range**
$25.25 - $36.61 /hour
