**Responsibilities**
Operates Radiographic equipment to produce radiographs (xrays) under the general direction of the Supervisor/Imaging Director. Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement and the use of ingenuity and initiative. Ensures safe operation and care of Radiology equipment and exposure of patients to radiation for diagnostic information. Must be able to provide professional and quality care while following hospital policies procedures and standards.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must have a minimum of two years (2) experience as a staff technologist with at least one (1) year experience in one specialty field. Will actively work in both Radiology and second specialty.
+ CRT certification in Radiography and Mammography required with Fluoroscopy Permit certification. ARRT in Radiography.BLS certification required.
+ Must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialty field.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles protocols techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty. Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the general patient population. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Ability to organize
and prioritize work efficiently.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
**Pay Range**
$46.73 - $55.11 /hour
