**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary**
The incumbent is responsible for presenting educational programs based on employee and leadership requests and needs assessments through lectures classroom demonstrations computer based modules and self study modules. The incumbent conducts competency testing by collaborating with staff and management to determine competencies and the method most effective for assessing those competencies through skill demonstration written assessment or other modalities. In addition the incumbent serves as a resource for hospital clinical staff and leadership regarding the electronic health record system and other computer applications which includes translating clinical systems functionality into desired outcomes and evidence-based practice.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum**
+ Bachelors Degree
+ Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in field
+ BLS ;REGISTERED NURSE (RN);ACLS
+ Computer experience working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record software
**Preferred**
+ Masters degree
+ Clinical education experience in an acute care hospital Experience using a learning management system (LMS)
+ Possess and maintain a current Instructor status in AHA programs (i.e. ACLS PALS NRP BLS). Certification in area of expertise
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
**Pay Range**
$55.79 - $76.50 /hour
