**Responsibilities**
As a Behavioral Health Clinician with the Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you’ll help our patients and their families feel comfortable and educated when they’re in the clinic _._ You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help deliver effective treatments to our patients.
You’ll build trust in these interactions by advocating, supporting, and educating your patients and their families. Your success in this role comes from your empathy and patience to help others during a vulnerable time in their lives.
**Success in this role means you:**
+ Conduct initial intake assessment and evaluations, providing crisis intervention services when needed and assist in detection of high risk patients
+ You’re interacting with the patients throughout your day, so you’ll be the eyes and ears to notice any difference in patient health and behavior.
+ Offer linkages and referrals to appropriate services
+ Work independently and are able to successfully be self directed
+ Use only therapeutic procedures approved by the Manager, adherence to the W & I Codes, and professional and ethical behavior at all times.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Psychological Assistant.
+ Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Masters degree in an appropriate behavioral science discipline
+ You must possess the following knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ DSM 5. Psychology of children and adolescents. Cultural and ethnic diversities of clients. Community resources. Treatment interventions. Normal and abnormal psychology. Assessment skills and crisis intervention. Treatment planning and intervention skills. Ethical and legal issues. Billing and documentation requirements.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to maintain an appropriate balance between direct client contact and documentation time.
+ Adhere to all client confidentiality requirements and standards.
+ Manage significant electronic paperwork functions necessary to support billing.
+ Ability to manage the caseload and schedule to maximize productivity.
+ Ability to effectively resolve conflict and cope with crisis situations. Skills in building groups.
+ Additionally, you will develop treatment/intervention plans with a multi-discipline team.
+ Monitor for medication and treatment interventions, consultation, case management of children and adolescents, and linkage and referral services.
+ Be able to travel to multiple sites as required

**Pay Range**
$36.96 - $53.60 /hour
