**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

The Certified Nursing Assistant under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan The Joint Commission and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies.

The qualified candidate will provides care for patients of pediatric through geriatric ages. Assists with activities of daily living provides basic care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

**Qualifications**

Experience Education Licensure & Special Skills

+ Nurse Assistant certification OR completion of a nursing fundamentals class and are currently enrolled in nursing school OR a graduate from a nursing program required

+ BLS-CPR; CNA:CA

+ 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred

+ Use ability to communicate clearly in verbal English Use ability to communicate clearly in written English Work at a fast pace in an active work environment Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

This position is represented by SEIU United Healthcare Workers

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $25.66 /hour
