Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary Responsible for education, training, and testing for the Patient Access team network-wide. Through training ensures quality revenue cycle results. Acts as a subject matter expert for the ADT system. Identifies training needs and prepares training material and other tools to support educational objectives and development initiatives. Conducts computer-based training and orientation of staff in an efficient and economical manner. Coordinates resources for training:, such as participants, trainers, training rooms and equipment. Collaborates with supervisors in maintaining training schedule, including new hire training and refresher training. Retrieves and analyzes QA data & Insurance coverage accuracy to identify error patterns and create intervention through feedback and training in collaboration with Admitting Services leadership. Assists Admitting Services management on special projects, goals and initiatives. Works with vendors to create system edits as needed. Performs website administrator duties for the network. Expected to be proficient in workflow utilized in Patient Access (e.g., pre-services, HOPD, auth/cert, main admitting, ED registration etc.). Onboards new hires first week with system education. Provides ongoing refresher training and specific training topics as required. Ensures classroom education is standardized as appropriate and specialized to specific Patient Access areas as required. Handles registrations and other system required tasks to stay current on system requirements. Keeps management informed of all unique situations. Performs website administrator duties for Patient Access (e.g., Pre-Services, HOPD, patient financial services etc.). Sets up payer access and resets passwords for employees on those sites that require administrators to do so. Ensures that all new hires have payer website access set up within first week of employment. They act as the quality software administrator including resetting passwords as necessary. Review Insurance report and QA for error patterns, feedback, and training opportunities. Active part of the Payor Plan Committee. Acts as the administrator for the insurance card database. An Educator is present for application upgrades throughout the year. Provides at-the-elbow training as necessary during upgrades. Serves as liaison for Patient Access training with other departments when educational opportunities are identified. Recommends new workflows and enhancements to existing processes to ensure registration and admitting practices are completed and expectations are met or exceeded. Contributes to continual improvement of processes. Performs Lead operations as necessary. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 2 years registration/patient accounts experience in Epic Required
