The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. As a vital member, you learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, this role involves hands-on learning to address various automotive systems and services. **Responsibilities**
+ Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
+ Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
+ Install batteries and check electrical systems.
+ Perform tire maintenance.
+ Install parts.
+ Road test vehicles.
+ Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
+ Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
+ Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including:
+ Oil changes
+ Basic inspections
+ Repairing tires
+ Reading, writing, and math skills.

Each day you’ll fix the trucks and equipment that service over 20 million customers across the USA. As a diesel mechanic you can take pride in watching a truck roll out of the shop, knowing your local community will be supported by your hard work. Our mechanics take their careers to the next level by working on equipment that requires a high level of skill – and determination. You’ll be using modern tools and procedures to deliver exceptional maintenance on both diesel equipment and, at some locations, on our growing fleet of CNG trucks.

+ Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
+ Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
+ Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
+ Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
+ Safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority
+ Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
+ Assisting senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
+ Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
+ Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Position Overview:
The Line Lead is a front-line supervisor role, responsible for directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to regularly achieve production targets.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding set production and quality goals.
Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
