THE GIG:

You're the Queen (or King!) Bee of every DivaDance class, teaching clients original choreography to songs ranging from Bey to Biebs. Our classes are for all levels and follow a consistent DivaDance format. Our ideal candidate has a big personality, experience creating choreography and teaching adults, and is super responsive via phone/text. Flakes or last-minute excuse-makers need not apply! This is a great role for someone who wants to earn extra Venmo or manicure money while doing what they LOVE. You will be required to complete our online Instructor Development Program before teaching your first class. There is no cost to you for this professional development.

HOURS, COMPENSATION, LOCATION:

We are looking for you to teach 1-2 classes per week - mostly in the evenings and possibly on weekends. DivaDance brings our classes into existing facilities - we do not have our own physical location. You can expect to teach at our studios in West Mesa and should have reliable transportation to get there for classes!

Compensation starts at $30 per class.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You must have experience teaching and choreographing for adults. Bonus points for former dance team/drill team/cheerleaders. Our application process will require that you submit a video of your original choreography.

If you are a professional instructor who is highly motivated, dynamic, FRIENDLY and willing to learn, while building relationships with new and existing clients, and lead dynamic apparatus focused workout routines (we use Balanced Body Reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, spring boards, ballet barre and more), you'll be a great addition to our team! We are looking for instructors with confidence in working with all levels of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner through group classes and private training sessions. Club Pilates offers blocked scheduling and shifts, the ability to teach multiple level classes, club membership, continuing education, employee status (not independent contractor), room for growth and a supportive & fun environment! REQUIREMENTS: * Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification, 500+ hours) * Experience teaching group classes * Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction * Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style * Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises * Punctual, reliable and dedicated * Desire to build a successful business in an entrepreneurial environment * Focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills * Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team * Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment RESPONSIBILITIES: * Providing Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards * Instructing clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experience * Conducting private, semi-private, demo or other additional sessions as needed * Visually inspecting the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use * Maintaining a clean and orderly workout environment * Assisting with membership sales and checking clients in * Building studio revenue by promoting retail and membership sales & services * Being a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates.
