    **CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer Cloud FullStack opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.**

    **Location:** Phoenix, AZ

    **Duration:** 10 months

    **Duties:**

    + Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications using a full-stack approach.

    + Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality applications.

    + Develop and maintain cloud applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing tools such as BigQuery, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark/Java.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver scalable solutions.

    + Maintain and enhance application performance, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with industry standards.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and system optimization.

    + Work closely with the testing team to ensure applications are thoroughly tested before release.

    + Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future development and reference.

    **Skills:**

    + Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Java.

    + Expertise in cloud application development with a full-stack development approach.

    + Proven experience with big data technologies, specifically working with large data sets.

    + Knowledge of cornerstone platform and GCP big data.

    + Proficient in both backend and frontend development, including UI/UX.

    + Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

    **Experience:**

    + At least 6 years of strong hands-on experience in cloud application development, with specific expertise in big data and GCP.

    + Mandatory recent experience with American Express (Amex) on cornerstone and/or GCP big data platforms.

    + Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions on time and within scope.

    + Proven track record of developing, testing, and deploying scalable cloud applications.

    **Education:**

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
