    The Design Engineer will perform all aspects of GPON engineering including but not limited to engineering of line extensions for service order activity, pole replacements facility installations and facility relocation. The Engineer will be familiar with GPON/OSP design and planning, construction, and have the ability to perform cost analysis to determine the most cost effective and efficient manner of the placement of communications facilities.

    Responsibilities:

    + Produce Layout documents utilizing:

    + Field Notes

    + Living Unit data

    + Google Satellite to double check Living Unit Data

    + Client proprietary systems

    + Excel Data Entry

    + Clearly and concisely plan fiber routes and terminal placements, assigning count to each terminal and each living unit in a designated area. These are produced for and referenced by:

    + Project Management for initial costing

    + Permits for drafting

    + Configurator for ordering cable

    + Work order package preparation including but not limited to cut sheets, schematics, and acquiring permits and private rights-of-way.

    + OSP design and planning, construction.

    Qualifications:

    + FTTH Line of Count experience, especially in the FlexNAP "High to Low, CO to Field" method strongly preferred

    + Previous experience in aerial, buried and underground outside plant strongly preferred

    + AutoCAD or equivalent drafting experience required

    + Projects include water infrastructure to private and public water utilities and mining clients including water master plans, wells, pipelines, storage tanks, pressure vessels, and water pump stations.

    The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, to develop a test system for all Raytheon products.     What You Will Do:

    + Design, development, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment Engineering in multidiscipline engineering teams

    + Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis

    The **Utility Development Substation Design Engineer** will support the overall design and execution of QTS utility infrastructure. This role will support the delivery of utility capacity at each campus for data center substation and utility build projects.
